What You Need To Make This Crescent Roll Breakfast Casserole Recipe?
Crescent Rolls: For your casserole, you can easily find two cans of crescent rolls, at supermarkets. These rolls provide a buttery base that adds a touch.
Cream Cheese: To make each bite of the casserole creamy and indulgent include four ounces of cream cheese. Feel free to experiment with flavors of cream cheese for a twist.
Eggs and Milk: To create a creamy binding for the ingredients combine six eggs with one cup of whole milk. If you prefer a lighter option you can use low-fat milk or almond or soy milk as an alternative.
Shredded Cheese: For that savory and cheesy goodness add two cups of cheese like a mix of Colby jack and cheddar. You can personalize the cheese blend to suit your taste or add more if you want a cheesy treat.
Thick-Cut Ham: To make the dish heartier and more flavorful include 6 to 8 ounces of cut ham. If desired cooked bacon or sausage can be substituted for a flavor profile.
Jalapeños: If you enjoy some spiciness in your dish finely chop one to two deseeded jalapeños. Add them in. You may want to adjust the amount according to how spicy you prefer it. It’s an idea to wear gloves when handling jalapeños to prevent any irritation.
Freeze-Dried Parsley: For a burst of herb flavor, without the hassle of using herbs two teaspoons of freeze-dried parsley will do the trick. If you have fresh parsley available that works too.
Ground Pepper and Sea Salt: To season the casserole perfectly add half a teaspoon each of ground pepper and sea salt. Feel free to modify the quantities based on your taste preferences and using freshly ground pepper can enhance the flavor.
