16 Servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crescent rolls 16 rolls total
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 c. whole milk
  • 2 c. shredded cheese I used colby jack and cheddar
  • 6-8 oz. thick-cut ham cubed into ½-cm pieces
  • 1-2 whole jalapeños deseeded and finely chopped
  • 2 tsp. freeze-dried parsley
  • ½ tsp. ground pepper
  • ½ tsp. sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a casserole dish measuring 9x13 inches.
  2. Take the crescent roll dough. Cut it along the lines. Spread a dollop of cream cheese, on each triangle of dough. Roll them up.
  3. Arrange the crescent rolls in the casserole dish making two rows with 8 rolls in each row.
  4. In a bowl whisk together the eggs and milk. Add the cheese, ham, jalapeño, parsley, pepper and salt to create a mixture with some texture.
  5. Gently pour the mixture over the crescent rolls ensuring that it is evenly distributed. Use your hands or a fork to spread the ingredients towards the edges so that they cover most of the rolls. It's okay if some of the tops of the crescent rolls are peeking out.
  6. Place in your oven rack. Bake for approximately 30 to 40 minutes until it becomes puffy and golden brown. If it starts browning you can cover it with foil.
