Frequently Asked Questions

Can I swap sugar with other sweeteners?

Brown sugar can be substituted with other sweeteners such as honey or maple syrup if you prefer. The result won’t be quite as rich in flavor, but it will still be sweet.

How can you tell whether a pork chop is done?

A pork chop’s cooking time will vary depending on how thick it is. Depending on the thickness, we aim for a time between 25 and 35 minutes. Always use a meat thermometer to ensure they are cooked to your preference. The ideal internal temperature for pork chops is 145 degrees F.

How can I get the perfect crust on my pork chops?

You can sear the pork chops if desired before baking with a bit of butter and olive oil to get that crispy exterior.
