What You Need To Make This Cranberry Pecan Cheese Ball Recipe?
Cream Cheese: This is the heart of our cheese ball. It offers a velvety texture that binds all the flavors. Opt for full-fat cream cheese for the richest taste.
White Sharp Cheddar Cheese: This isn’t just any cheese; its sharpness contrasts with the sweetness of cranberries, creating a dance of flavors in every bite. The aged variety can add an extra oomph.
Dried Cranberries: A sweet-tart delight, dried cranberries are the surprise element in our cheese ball. They provide those little bursts of fruity goodness. Feel adventurous? Try cherry-infused cranberries for a twist.
Fisher’s Nuts Pecans: Now, while pecans are optional, I highly recommend them. Fisher’s Nuts offers some top-notch pecans that, when toasted, elevate the crunch and depth of the cheese ball. If you’re looking to experiment, candied pecans could be an interesting variation.
Chives/Green Onions: These aren’t just garnishes; they’re the silent flavor warriors. Chopped fine, they introduce a subtle fresh note that breaks through the richness.
Garlic Powder: While it might seem odd in a cheese ball, trust me on this one. A pinch of garlic powder weaves in a hint of warmth and complexity that ties everything together.
Steps To Make Cranberry Pecan Cheese Ball:
Step 1: To begin preheat your oven to 375°F. Spread the chopped pecans on a baking tray. Toast them for 5 minutes until the enticing aroma fills your kitchen. Once toasted set them aside to cool.
