These Amish Onion Patties are a simple and quick appetizer made with onions. They are delicious as starters or as a light snack. You can dip these onion patties in ketchup, salsa, ranch dressing, or anything else your family enjoys.
These burgers have a flavor similar to that of fried onion rings. If you need to feed a large group, feel free to double or even triple the ingredients. These Amish Onion Patties also keep for days in the fridge and can be reheated later.
What Do You Need To Make Onion Patties:
The following items are required for making Amish onion patties:
- cooking oil (I used Canola)
- all-purpose flour
- baking powder
- onion
- cornmeal (self-rising or regular)
