Ingredients

  • 1 5-ounce can of crispy chow mein noodles
  • 1 11 ounces package of butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 c. salted peanuts optional
  • 1 c. creamy peanut butter

Instructions
 

  1. Using wax paper, line a baking sheet and set aside.
  2. Melt the butterscotch chips and peanut butter in a large pot over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
  3. Take the pot off the heat and add the chow mein noodles and peanuts (optional), quickly stirring to coat.
  4. Onto the wax paper, drop the mixture by spoonfuls (working quickly). Allow the haystacks to cool until set before serving.
