- Start by adding the sausage. To a large soup pot or Dutch oven. And cook over medium-high heat. For about 5 minutes.
- Next, mix in the chopped onions. And continue cooking for another 5 minutes. Or until the sausage is browned. And the onions are tender.
- Add the minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, and orzo. Stirring for about 30 seconds.
