Ingredients
12 oz white chocolate chips
3 c dry roasted peanuts
2 ½ c pretzel twists, broken into small pieces
2 lb white chocolate candy coating
6 oz white chocolate baking bar
optional: Festive sprinkles
Instructions
To make the chocolate melt place the white chocolate candy coating baking bar and chips in the cooker. Make sure to cover it with the lid.
For heating set your slow cooker to LOW. Heat the chocolate for around 1 to 1.5 hours until it’s completely melted. Remember to occasionally stir for even melting.
After the chocolate has melted, mix in the peanuts and broken pretzel pieces until they are completely coated with chocolate.
To shape the candies use a spoon or a small cookie scoop to drop spoonfuls of the candy mixture onto a baking sheet that’s lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
If you’d like to add some sprinkles do so while the chocolate is still soft on top of the candies.
Allow some time for cooling and setting at one hour, before serving your delicious homemade Crock Pot Salty Sweet Candy!
Notes
If you or your loved ones are gluten-sensitive, fear not – this Crock Pot Salty Sweet Candy can easily be transformed into a gluten-free delight! The key lies in swapping out the pretzel twists. Instead of traditional pretzels, which typically contain wheat, opt for a gluten-free pretzel variety. These are readily available at most health food stores and many supermarkets. They offer the same salty crunch and twist of fun, ensuring you don’t miss out on any of the original recipe’s charm. Remember to also check the labels on your white chocolate products to ensure they’re free from gluten-containing ingredients.
