Description

Step into a world where dessert fantasies become reality! In the realm of enchantment, there exists a recipe that possesses the ability to transport your taste buds to a place of sheer happiness. With layers of rich fudge brownies the allure of peanut butter cups and the comforting embrace of whipped cream, this timeless American treat takes you on a journey from the very first bite, to the very last.

Ingredients

Scale

1 package Fudge brownie mix (prepared as directed) OR 1 pkg store-bought brownies

213 ounce packages Reese’s Miniature cups

2 packages instant vanilla pudding mix

4 cups cold milk

1 cup peanut butter, creamy or chunky

4 teaspoons vanilla extract

16 ounces thawed whipped topping (or homemade)

Instructions

Let’s make some brownies! If you’re baking from scratch follow the instructions, on the package. Bake them at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 25 minutes. If you’re using store-bought brownies break them into chunks, about ¾ inch in size.

Next let’s get the peanut butter cups ready. Take most of Reese’s Miniature cups. Cut them in half. Set aside about ⅓ cup for later.

Now it’s time to mix the pudding. In a bowl whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until it becomes thick and smooth.

To add some peanut butter flavor to our pudding let’s incorporate some peanut butter and vanilla extract into the mixture. Make sure they blend well together.

After that gently fold in the thawed whipped topping (or homemade) into our pudding mixture. This will give us a fluffy texture.

Now we can start layering our ingredients in a 5-quart bowl. Begin with a layer of brownies using one-third of your batch.

Next sprinkle one-third of the halved peanut butter cups over the brownie layer to add a nutty touch to each bite.

Finally spoon one-third of the pudding mixture, over the peanut butter cups so that all those delicious flavors can meld together.

Layer the ingredients three times creating a combination of brownies, peanut butter cups and pudding.

Finish off your creation by adding the remaining whipped topping giving it a creamy touch.

Decorate the top with the reserved halved peanut butter cups adding a final touch of elegance to your dessert.

Let your masterpiece chill in the refrigerator until it’s ready to be enjoyed. This will allow all the layers to blend together into a symphony of flavors.

Indulge, in each spoonful of “Heaven Sits In A Bowl” and relish in the mixture of flavors and textures that will keep you wanting more.
