8 ounces of cream cheese, softened
4 c. milk
1 (10.5 ounces) can of condensed cream of bacon soup
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1 pound dry spaghetti
1 c. bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 1/2 c. mozzarella cheese, grated and divided
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Fresh chives, snipped, for garnish (optional)
Set the oven to 400 degrees F.
Combine the milk, bacon soup, cream cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large pot and bring everything to a boil.
In half, break the spaghetti and stir into the pot once the mixture is bubbling. Adjust the heat to medium-low and cook the spaghetti for 8 minutes, stirring often.
Whisk in 2 c. of the mozzarella and half of the bacon. Season with salt and pepper, then pour the spaghetti mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
On top, distribute the rest of the mozzarella and bacon. Place in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted and beginning to turn golden brown.
Allow the spaghetti to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
