What You Need To Make This Bacon Cream Cheese Baked Spaghetti Recipe?
Milk: The milk serves as the foundation for the creamy sauce. If you want a richer texture go for whole milk. However, if you prefer a lighter dish lower-fat options are also suitable.
Condensed Cream of Bacon Soup: This specialty soup adds a smoky bacon flavor to the dish. It’s an ingredient to achieve that savory profile. Make sure you choose the flavor to maintain the integrity of the recipe.
Philadelphia Whipped Chive Cream Cheese: This cream cheese variety not only brings creaminess. Also enhances the overall taste with subtle chive notes. Opting for the whipped version will give you a smoother consistency.
Salt and Pepper: These seasonings are crucial to bringing balance to the dish’s flavors. Adjust the amounts according to your taste and if possible use freshly ground black pepper for an extra flavorful touch.
Garlic Powder and Onion Powder: These powdered seasonings add layers of flavor to the sauce creating depth and complexity in its base.
Spaghetti: The pasta component, in this recipe is spaghetti providing an Italian touch to the dish. You have the option to choose between wheat or gluten-free spaghetti based on your preferences.
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese: For the cheese, you can stick with the choice of mozzarella, for its meltability and mild flavor. However, feel free to get creative and try cheeses like cheddar or Parmesan to add taste profiles. As for the topping adding a layer of mozzarella cheese ensures that each bite is filled with gooey cheesiness. Don’t hesitate to explore cheese options well for added variety.
Real Bacon Bits: To add that savory and crispy texture that takes the dish to another level you can use bacon bits. If you prefer a lighter option turkey bacon bits or even vegetarian alternatives can be considered for a meatless version. To elevate both the bacon flavor and provide a crunch, on top sprinkling bacon bits is an idea. If you’re looking to reduce meat consumption vegetarian bacon bits can serve as an alternative.
Chopped Chives: For a pop of color and a mild onion-like flavor that complements the creaminess of the dish chopped chives make a perfect garnish. They not only brighten up the presentation. Also enhance the overall taste.

I have my heart set on this recipe, but I cannot find cream of bacon soup anywhere! Please help! Any suggestions? Thanks so much. This looks delicious.
Hi Jen, if you can’t find cream of bacon soup, a great alternative is to make a quick homemade version. You can blend cooked bacon (about 6-8 slices, finely chopped) with a basic cream soup base. For the base, use 1 tablespoon butter, 1 tablespoon flour, and gradually whisk in about 1 cup of milk until it thickens. Add the cooked bacon to this mixture, along with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. This homemade version should substitute nicely for the condensed cream of bacon soup in your Bacon Cream Cheese Baked Spaghetti recipe. Enjoy your cooking!
