Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp of olive oil
  • 18 ounces of fresh pizza dough brought to room temperature
  • 2 tbsp of all-purpose flour for dusting
  • 5 tbsp of melted unsalted butter divided
  • 2-3 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp of dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp of dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp of Italian seasoning
  • 3/4 tsp of dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of ground mustard powder
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 4 ounces 1 c of shredded sharp white cheddar cheese, divided
  • 4 ounces 1 c of shredded smoked gouda cheese, divided
  • 1 large or 2 small Vidalia onions thinly sliced into rings

Instructions
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F. Lightly coat a 13"x18" rimmed sheet pan. With olive oil.
  2. On a floured surface. Roll the dough out. To approximately 12"x17". If the dough keeps shrinking. Cover it. And let it rest. For about 10 minutes. Before rolling again.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough. Onto the prepared pan. And gently press it. Into the corners. With your fingers. In a small bowl. Mix 3 tablespoons of melted butter. With the garlic, thyme, parsley, Italian seasoning, and oregano. Spread this mixture evenly. Over the dough.
  4. Next, layer the shredded cheeses evenly. Over the dough. Followed by the onion slices. In a separate bowl. Combine the remaining butter. With the mustard, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. And drizzle this mixture. Over the top.
  5. Bake for 13-15 minutes. Or until the dough is golden. And puffed. Once done. Slice. And enjoy!
