Ingredients

  • 2 c. Bisquick
  • 1 lb. spicy sausage
  • 4 c. cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. milk

Instructions
 

  1. In a bowl mix together Bisquick, cheddar cheese, spicy sausage and milk until they are well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into balls using your hands or a small scoop. Aim for bite portions.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet, with parchment paper.
  4. Arrange the sausage balls on the baking sheet ensuring there is 2 inches of space, between each one.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake for approximately 20 to 25 minutes or until the balls are lightly browned and fully cooked.
  6. Once done take them out of the oven allow them to cool slightly and serve while still warm.

Notes

To make a gluten-free version of this tasty Sausage Balls Recipe just replace the regular Bisquick with a gluten-free Bisquick mix, which you can easily find in most supermarkets. Also be sure to use gluten-free sausage as some sausages may have breadcrumbs or fillers that contain gluten. With these changes you can savor the flavors and textures while catering to a gluten-free diet.
