Ingredients

  • 1 cup Herbalife Formula 1 Protein Powder flavor of choice
  • ½ cup whole wheat flour or gluten-free flour alternative
  • ¼ cup honey or agave syrup
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • ½ cup almond milk or preferred milk alternative
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon optional
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

Preheat the Oven

  1. Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even baking.

Prepare the Dry Ingredients

  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine Herbalife Formula 1 Protein Powder, whole wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon (if using), and salt. Whisk thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Prepare the Wet Ingredients

  1. In a separate bowl, mix together the honey (or agave syrup), applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until the ingredients are fully incorporated.

Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures

  1. Gradually pour the wet mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined—do not overmix, as this may affect the texture of the donuts.

Grease the Donut Pan

  1. Lightly grease a non-stick donut pan with cooking spray or a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.

Fill the Donut Molds

  1. Using a spoon or piping bag, evenly distribute the batter into each donut mold, filling each approximately ¾ full to allow for rising.

Bake the Donuts

  1. Place the pan into the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a donut comes out clean.

Cool the Donuts

  1. Remove the donuts from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Optional Toppings

  1. For added flavor, drizzle the donuts with a light glaze, dust with powdered sugar, or dip in melted dark chocolate before serving.

Serve and Enjoy

  1. Once cooled, the Herbalife Protein Donuts are ready to be enjoyed as a nutritious snack, breakfast, or post-workout treat.

Notes

To create a gluten-free version of these protein donuts, replace the whole wheat flour with a gluten-free all-purpose flour blend. Ensure that all additional ingredients, including baking powder and protein powder, are labeled certified gluten-free to avoid cross-contamination.
