Ingredients

  • 1 fresh pineapple peeled, cored, and sliced into 1-inch thick rings
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon honey
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

Prepare Ingredients:

  1. Gather all necessary ingredients. Place the pineapple rings into a large resealable plastic bag.

Marinate the Pineapple:

  1. Add the melted butter, honey, hot pepper sauce, and a pinch of salt into the bag with the pineapple. Seal the bag securely and gently shake to coat the pineapple rings evenly. Allow the pineapple to marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes. For enhanced flavor, marinate overnight if possible.

Preheat the Grill:

  1. Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.

Grill the Pineapple:

  1. Remove the pineapple rings from the marinade and place them directly on the preheated grill. Cook for approximately 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until grill marks appear and the pineapple is heated through.

Serve:

  1. Serve the grilled pineapple warm as a side dish, appetizer, or dessert.
