Ingredients

  • 1 box 15.25 oz devil’s food cake mix
  • Ingredients needed to make cake: eggs oil, and water (as per box directions)
  • 1 jar caramel ice cream topping
  • 3 Snickers candy bars
  • 1 tub 8 oz whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), thawed
  • Chocolate and caramel syrup for topping, optional

Instructions
 

Preheat and Prepare:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9x13-inch baking dish. With parchment paper.

Make the Cake:

  1. Prepare the Devil’s food cake mix according to the package instructions using the required eggs, oil, and water.
  2. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. And bake for about 30 minutes. Or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Poke and Pour:

  1. As soon as the cake comes out of the oven. Use a fork to poke holes all over the top of the warm cake.
  2. Pour the caramel ice cream topping over the cake. Focusing on getting it into the holes.

Cool the Cake:

  1. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

Prepare the Topping:

  1. Chop the Snickers bars into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix the chopped Snickers with the thawed whipped topping. Until well combined.

Decorate and Serve:

  1. Spread the Snickers and whipped topping mixture evenly. Over the cooled cake.
