Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions

Combine Cream Cheese and Butter:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer on medium-high speed to blend the softened cream cheese and butter until the mixture is light and creamy. This should take approximately 1 to 2 minutes.

Add Sweeteners and Vanilla:

  1. Add the confectioners' sugar and brown sugar to the bowl. Pour in the vanilla extract. Continue to beat the mixture until smooth and fully combined, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed to ensure even blending.

Incorporate Chocolate Chips:

  1. Gently fold the chocolate chips into the mixture using a spatula or wooden spoon. Stir until the chips are evenly distributed throughout the dip.

Transfer and Chill:

  1. Spoon the dip into a serving bowl. If not serving immediately, cover and refrigerate. The dip may be stored in the refrigerator for up to four days. Allow to sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before serving to soften slightly.

Notes

The dip itself is naturally gluten-free as written, assuming all ingredients are certified gluten-free (especially the chocolate chips and vanilla extract). To serve gluten-free, pair the dip with gluten-free graham crackers, pretzels, or fresh fruit such as apple slices or strawberries.
