Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe avocados mashed until completely smooth
  • ½ cup 50g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • cup 65g coconut sugar (or ¼ cup maple syrup for a softer texture)

Instructions

Preheat and Prepare

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper, ensuring there is overhang for easy removal.

Combine Ingredients

  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe avocados thoroughly until no lumps remain. Add the unsweetened cocoa powder and coconut sugar (or maple syrup). Stir well until a thick, uniform batter is formed. If needed, use a hand mixer for a smoother consistency.

Transfer and Bake

  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Cooling and Serving

  1. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing. For a firmer texture, refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

This recipe is naturally gluten-free as it contains no flour or grains. However, to ensure it remains entirely gluten-free, verify that all ingredients, including cocoa powder and coconut sugar, are certified gluten-free to avoid cross-contamination.
