4 c sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed

1 c brown sugar

c half and half

c butter, softened

1 egg

2 tsp vanilla

1 ½ tsp salt

TOPPING:

1 c brown sugar

c flour

1 ⅓ c pecan pieces

½ c butter, melted


Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish, with butter or cooking spray.

Mix the Base: In a bowl combine the potatoes, brown sugar, half and half, melted butter, egg, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Spread the potato mixture evenly in the greased baking dish.

Prepare the Topping: In another bowl mix together sugar, flour, chopped pecans and melted butter. Combine them until they form a crumble.

Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the potato mixture in the baking dish.

Place the dish in your oven. Bake for approximately 35 minutes or until golden brown, on top and bubbling around the edges.

Allow it to cool for 20 minutes before serving. Enjoy this potato treat!
