Ingredients

Scale

1.5 pounds sausage (kielbasa or smoked sausage), sliced 1/4 inch thick

2 pounds baby creamer potatoes, washed and sliced in half

Two 15-ounce cans green beans, drained

1/8 cup vegetable oil

1/4 cup butter

1 cup onions, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama® seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/4 cup water

Instructions

Set your temperature to 400°F (200°C). Get a baking dish measuring 9×13 inches. Apply a layer of nonstick spray.

Clean and cut the baby creamer potatoes in half. Put them in a bag.

Add vegetable oil, Slap Ya Mama® seasoning, garlic powder, pepper and red pepper flakes to the bag with the potatoes. Shake well until all the potatoes are coated.

Use a frying pan to cook the sausage with 1/4 cup of water, on medium-high heat until it turns brown. Let it cool down, and add it to the bag with the potatoes.

In that pan melt some butter and cook onions and garlic until they become translucent. Allow them to cool down before adding them to the bag.

Add drained beans into the bag. Shake well so that everything mixes together nicely.

Empty all contents from the bag into your baking dish. Cover it tightly using foil.

Place your dish in the oven. Let it bake for 40 minutes or until you can easily pierce through tender potatoes with a fork.

Take it out of the oven when done, let it cool for a bit then enjoy your casserole!

Notes

To make our delicious Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole gluten-free it’s essential to choose the sausage. Some sausages contain ingredients or seasonings that have gluten so it’s important to select a sausage that is clearly labeled as gluten-free. Also pay attention to the spices you use, like Slap Ya Mama® seasoning. While this seasoning is naturally gluten-free there is a risk of cross-contamination during processing. Therefore always opt for brands that guarantee a gluten-free product. This simple substitution doesn’t compromise the taste or texture of the dish allowing everyone to enjoy the comforting goodness of this casserole without any worries, about gluten.
