Steal the show with these Peachy Peach Dumplings and prepare to get charmed by the tender sweetness of peaches and the buttery flakiness of crescent roll dough. For that heart-melting decadence make sure to sprinkle the dumplings with cinnamon sugar and serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

2 large cans of ripe, juicy peaches, drained
2 tubes of ready-to-use crescent roll dough
2 full sticks of butter
⅔ cup of light brown sugar
⅔ cup of regular granulated sugar
3 full teaspoons of ground cinnamon, mixed with the sugar
1 ½ cups of your favorite lemon-lime soda, Sprite or otherwise
A generous scoop of vanilla ice cream for serving

Preheat your oven to a temperature of 350°F. Take a 9×13 baking dish. Generously coat it with butter!

Unwrap the tubes of crescent roll dough. Separate the dough into triangular shapes making it fun.

On each triangle place one or two slices of peaches. Sprinkle them gently with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar as if you’re tucking them in with a blanket!

Now let’s get rolling! Wrap the dough around the peaches securely resembling something like a burrito.

Place each dumpling snugly into the buttered baking dish.

Melt some butter until it turns into a liquid gold consistency. Drizzle this goodness over the dumplings as if it’s heavenly nectar.

Time to add some fizz! Pour lemon-lime soda around the dumplings being careful not to pour over them.

Gently slide the dish into the oven. Allow them to bake until they turn golden and start bubbling, which should take 30 to 35 minutes.

Serve these treats warm topped with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. Delve in. Savor the blend of sweet flavors!

If you’re on a gluten free diet don’t worry! You can still savor the deliciousness of our Peachy Peach Dumplings. The trick lies in modifying the crescent roll dough. While regular crescent roll doughs typically contain gluten there are plenty of alternatives.

You’ll find gluten free crescent roll dough at grocery stores and online markets. Brands like “Schar” and “Bobs Red Mill” offer gluten free pastry dough options that would work perfectly for this recipe. Just make sure the product you choose is clearly labeled as “gluten free ” so you can avoid any chance of cross contamination.

Remember to ensure all your ingredients, such as canned peaches and vanilla ice cream are also certified gluten free. Always take a moment to check the labels as some brands might include additives or thickeners that contain gluten.

By making these adjustments you’ll be able to indulge in a gluten free version of our mouthwatering Peachy Peach Dumplings!
