1 c butter, softened

1 c packed brown sugar (dark or light)

1/2 c white sugar

2 eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 3/4 c all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp cinnamon (adjust to taste)

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

3 c quick cook oats

1 and 1/2 c butterscotch chips


Preheat your oven to 325°F.

Cream together softened butter, brown sugar and white sugar until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.

Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture. Blend them well.

In a bowl combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and oats. Mix them thoroughly.
