1 tube Pillsbury refrigerated pizza dough

1/2 tsp pizza sauce

12 slices Italian salami

16 slices pepperoni

1 1/4 cups mozzarella cheese

1 egg, beaten

1 tsp Italian seasoning

2 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese

2 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley, optional


Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet, with parchment paper.

Take out a tube of Pillsbury refrigerated pizza dough and roll it out onto the baking sheet.

Leave about a 2 inch border around the dough. Spread half a teaspoon of pizza sauce evenly over it.

Next layer on 12 slices of salami followed by 16 slices of pepperoni and 1 and 1/4 cups of mozzarella cheese.

Carefully roll up the dough making sure to seal the edges and place the Stromboli with the seam side down on the baking sheet.

Using a beaten egg lightly brush the surface of the Stromboli. Then make slits across its surface.

Sprinkle one teaspoon of seasoning and two tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese on top for added flavor.

Place in the oven. Bake for approximately 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Once baked to perfection remove from the oven. Slice into portions. Serve alongside pizza sauce, for dipping.
