Description

Let me present you to the Ham Puffs; with every morsel, you’ll experience a festival of pleasure. These scrumptious pleasures meld the buttery goodness of butter with the rich and irresistible flavors of aged cheddar and succulent ham. Enhanced with a hint of Worcestershire, these puffs are not an appetizer; they offer a delightful gastronomic journey that will tantalize your taste buds, with a delightful interplay of textures and flavors leaving behind a lingering feeling of contentment even after the plate is empty.

Ingredients

Scale

½ c butter softened

c cheddar cheese (shredded)

c finely chopped cooked ham

¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 c all-purpose flour

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

In a bowl combine the butter, cheddar cheese, ham and Worcestershire sauce.

Add the flour gradually. Mix until everything is well combined.

Shape the mixture into balls measuring around 1/2 inch, in size and arrange them on the baking sheet.

Bake, for 15 to 18 minutes. Until they turn a lovely golden brown color.

Notes

Transforming these Ham Puffs into gluten-free delights is a breeze! Simply swap out the all-purpose flour with a trusted gluten-free flour blend. Brands like Bob’s Red Mill or King Arthur have great options that work seamlessly in recipes like this. Keep in mind, each blend might have a slightly different consistency, so you might need to adjust the quantity just a tad. Once done, you’ll have an appetizer that’s not only flavorful but also friendly for those avoiding gluten.
