Description
Carrot coins are cooked till soft in a combination of brown sugar, butter, and water, then topped with chopped parsley. These Glazed Carrots With Brown Sugar And Butter are an excellent addition to any special occasion or regular weeknight!
Ingredients
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 pounds carrots – peeled and cut into 1/2-inch thick slices
1 tbsp chopped parsley optional
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
In a large pan, place the carrots. Then, pour in 1 1/2 cups of water. Let the water simmer and cook the carrots for approximately 8 to 10 minutes or until soft.
When done, drain the excess water.
To the pan with the carrots, add the butter, brown sugar, and salt. Toss to mix and coat the carrots.
Continue to cook for another 4 to 5 minutes until the sauce has formed, stirring often.
If desired, sprinkle the glazed carrots with some parsley.
Serve right away. Enjoy!

You can use Carrots without cutting.
