1 (16 oz) package linguine pasta

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

2 shallots, finely diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional)

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 pinch kosher salt and freshly ground pepper

Β½ c dry white wine

1 lemon, juiced

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

ΒΌ c finely chopped fresh parsley leaves

1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil, or to taste


Instructions

Cook Pasta:Β Boil linguine in salted water until nearly tender, about 6-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.

SautΓ© Aromatics:Β In a skillet,Β melt butter with olive oil over medium heat.Β Add shallots, garlic, and optional red pepper flakes. Cook until shallots are translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Cook Shrimp:Β Season shrimp with salt and pepper, add to the skillet, and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove shrimp and set aside.

Deglaze & Simmer:Β Pour white wine and lemon juice into the skillet. Bring to a boil, scraping up browned bits. Add more butter and olive oil, then simmer.

Combine & Serve:Β Return shrimp to the skillet. Add cooked linguine and parsley. Toss everything together until coated. Drizzle with a teaspoon of olive oil, season to taste, and serve hot.
