Ingredients

Scale

1 prepared pie crust

1 box (3.4 ounces) of vanilla instant pudding mix (instant, not stovetop)

1.5 c of eggnog

2 c of whipped topping, like Cool Whip (thawed)

A dash of nutmeg

Instructions

Take a bowl and mix together the eggnog and instant vanilla pudding mix until the mixture becomes thick. You can use a mixer for this step.

Sprinkle a dash of nutmeg into the mixture. Give it a stir.

Gently fold the whipped topping into the mixture until it’s well combined and turns a pale yellow color. Be careful not, to overmix!

Pour the mixture into the pie crust making sure to spread it using a spatula.

Place the pie in the refrigerator. Let it chill for at least 4 hours or, until it’s firm. Alternatively you can refrigerate overnight for best results.

Enjoy your Creamy Eggnog Pie once it has set and become firm!

Notes

Transforming this Creamy Eggnog Pie into a gluten-free delight is surprisingly simple and does not compromise its delectable essence. The key alteration lies in the pie crust. Opt for a gluten-free pie crust, readily available at most grocery stores, or make your own with a blend of gluten-free flours. These crusts maintain the buttery, flaky texture we all love, ensuring that everyone, regardless of dietary restrictions, can indulge in the holiday cheer this pie brings.
