A hearty Thanksgiving Leftover Casserole Recipe made with turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, and broth—simple, comforting, and delicious.
8 Servings

Ingredients

  • 4 cups leftover stuffing
  • 3 cups leftover mashed potatoes
  • 2 cups leftover turkey cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • ¾ cup gravy
  • cup milk
  • ¼ cup chicken broth

Instructions

Preheat the oven

  1. Preheat the oven to 400º F (200º C). Lightly grease a large baking dish.

Prepare the turkey layer

  1. Place the chopped turkey in the bottom of the prepared dish. Add cranberry sauce and stir until the turkey is evenly coated. Spread into an even layer.

Add the potato layer

  1. Spoon the mashed potatoes over the turkey mixture. Carefully spread them across the surface, pressing gently into the corners for full coverage.

Mix and pour the gravy

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk the gravy with milk until smooth. Pour evenly over the potato layer, allowing it to soak through slightly.

Top with stuffing

  1. Scatter the leftover stuffing evenly across the potatoes. Drizzle the chicken broth over the stuffing to keep it moist while baking.

Bake the casserole

  1. Place the dish in the oven and bake uncovered for 25 minutes. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and continue baking for 15 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the top is golden.

Serve

  1. Remove from the oven and let rest briefly before serving hot.
