Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of softened cream cheese
  • 1 c grated mozzarella
  • 1 c grated cheddar
  • 2 jalapeños—one diced one sliced for extra kick
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 loaf of French bread sliced in half lengthwise

Instructions
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, grated mozzarella, cheddar, diced jalapeño, mayonnaise, garlic, and a pinch of salt. Mix everything together until it’s smooth and creamy.
  3. Spread this cheesy mixture evenly over both halves of the French bread. Lay the sliced jalapeños on top for that extra spicy kick.
  4. Pop the bread in the oven and bake for around 15 minutes, or until the cheese is all melty and bubbly. Want it a little more golden? You can broil it for an extra 1-2 minutes, but keep a close eye on it!
  5. Once it's done, let it cool for about 5 minutes before slicing. Then serve it up and enjoy the cheesy, spicy goodness!
