S'mores Crescent Rolls

A quick and indulgent twist on the campfire favorite, these S’mores Crescent Rolls are filled with chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers, all wrapped in flaky crescent dough and baked until golden and gooey.
Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough 8-count
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips or 2 standard milk chocolate bars, broken into pieces
  • 4 graham crackers crushed
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • ¼ cup additional crushed graham crackers for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar optional, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Sheet

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and facilitate easy cleanup.

Prepare Crescent Dough

  1. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 individual triangles. Place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.

Fill Each Crescent Roll

  1. Sprinkle each dough triangle with a light layer of crushed graham crackers. Then, place approximately 1 tablespoon of mini marshmallows and 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips (or a chocolate square) near the widest end of each triangle.

Roll and Shape

  1. Beginning at the wide end, gently roll the dough toward the narrow tip, forming a crescent shape. Slightly tuck in the sides to help contain the filling during baking.

Brush with Butter

  1. Lightly brush the tops of the rolls with the melted butter. This step enhances browning and adds a rich finish.

Bake

  1. Transfer the baking sheet to the oven. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the filling has melted.

Garnish and Serve

  1. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with additional crushed graham crackers. If desired, dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm for best texture and flavor.

Notes

To make this recipe gluten-free, substitute the crescent roll dough with a certified gluten-free version (available from brands such as Pillsbury or Annie’s). Additionally, replace standard graham crackers with gluten-free graham-style crackers or cookies. Verify that all other ingredients, particularly the chocolate and marshmallows, are labeled gluten-free.
