4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 stick unsalted butter melted
  • 1 1 oz packet ranch dressing seasoning mix
  • ¼ cup Pecorino cheese finely grated
  • 1 tablespoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 box Ritz crackers approximately 12.9 oz

Instructions

Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Prepare a large baking sheet by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Melt the Butter

  1. Place the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 15–20 second increments until fully melted. Set aside.

Combine Dry Ingredients

  1. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the ranch seasoning, grated Pecorino cheese, cayenne pepper, and cumin. Seal and shake briefly to distribute the ingredients evenly.

Add the Crackers

  1. Add the Ritz crackers to the seasoning mixture in the bag. Reseal and gently shake to coat the crackers.

Incorporate the Butter

  1. Pour the melted butter into the bag. Seal and gently shake again until the crackers are fully coated and all ingredients are well combined. Take care not to break the crackers during this step.

Arrange and Bake

  1. Spread the seasoned crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until lightly golden and fragrant.

Cool and Store

  1. Allow the crackers to cool completely before transferring them to an airtight container. Store at room temperature for up to 5 days.

Notes

To prepare this recipe gluten-free, substitute traditional Ritz crackers with a certified gluten-free buttery round cracker. Ensure the ranch seasoning mix and Pecorino cheese are also labeled gluten-free, as some commercial brands may contain additives or thickeners derived from wheat.
