Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds Ground beef
  • Sazon Perfecta seasoning
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups Pasta shells
  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons Granulated tomato broth
  • 3 Diced serrano peppers
  • ½ Chopped onion
  • 1 Can Rotel
  • Chopped parsley
  • Garlic powder and onion powder to taste
  • 2 Packets Red sazon seasoning
  • 1 Bay leaf

Instructions
 

  1. Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat. Until it’s fully browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat. And season with black pepper and Sazon Perfecta seasoning.
  2. Brown the Pasta: In a separate skillet, heat the olive oil. And lightly toast the pasta shells. Until they start to turn golden.
  3. Combine: Add the toasted pasta shells to the skillet with the ground beef.
  4. Add Remaining Ingredients: Pour in the water. And add the granulated chicken and tomato broths, diced serrano peppers, chopped onion, can of Rotel, garlic powder, onion powder, red sazon seasoning, and bay leaf.
  5. Simmer: Cover the skillet. Reduce the heat to low. And let everything simmer. Until the pasta is tender. About 20 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  6. Serve: Once the pasta is cooked. And the sauce has thickened. Remove from heat. Discard the bay leaf. And sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
