Ingredients

  • ¾ c butter melted
  • ½ c peanut butter natural creamy or crunchy
  • c granulated sugar
  • c runny honey
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 ½ c all-purpose flour
  • Light brown sugar for rolling and sprinkling

Optional Decorations:

  • Melted chocolate
  • Sprinkles
  • Chopped peanuts

Instructions
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheets with silicone mats or parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, peanut butter, sugar, honey, and salt until smooth. Fold in flour to form a soft dough.
  3. Roll out dough on a surface sprinkled with brown sugar to ⅓ inch thickness. Cut into shapes or fingers.
  4. Place cookies on baking sheets, and sprinkle with more brown sugar. And bake for 8-9 minutes. Cool on the sheet, then transfer to a wire rack.
  5. Optional: Dip cooled cookies in melted chocolate and decorate with peanuts or sprinkles.
