Ingredients

  • 12 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tablespoon dry ranch seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked bacon finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 30 pretzel sticks

Instructions

Prepare the Cheese Mixture:

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and ranch seasoning. Use a spatula or hand mixer to blend until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.

Prepare the Coating:

  1. In a separate small bowl, mix the finely chopped cooked bacon with the fresh parsley. This coating will add texture, flavor, and a visually appealing finish to the cheeseballs.

Form the Cheeseballs:

  1. Using a melon baller or a small spoon, scoop out a portion of the cheese mixture (approximately one tablespoon). Roll it between your hands to form a smooth ball.

Coat the Cheeseballs:

  1. Roll each formed cheese ball in the bacon and parsley mixture, ensuring an even coating. Gently press the coating into the cheese ball to help it adhere.

Add Pretzel Sticks:

  1. Insert a pretzel stick into the center of each cheeseball to serve as a handle. This step also makes the appetizer easy to grab and enjoy.

Serve or Store:

  1. Arrange the prepared cheeseballs on a serving platter. Serve immediately, or refrigerate them for up to 24 hours if preparing in advance.

Notes

To make this recipe gluten-free, replace the pretzel sticks with gluten-free alternatives such as veggie sticks or gluten-free crackers. The cheese mixture and coating are naturally gluten-free, but always verify ingredient labels to avoid cross-contamination.
