Ingredients

  • 3 c blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 c water
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 3 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

  1. Combine 1 1/2 c blueberries, water, sugar, and vanilla. In a small saucepan. Heat over medium-high. Until the mixture boils. And the blueberries start to break down.
  2. Stir in the dissolved cornstarch. And bring the mixture to a rolling boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Until thickened. Add water if needed.
  3. Remove from heat. And stir in the remaining blueberries. Serve warm. Or cold.
