This Honey Garlic Pork Tenderloin is the kind of dish that’s cozy enough for family dinners but impressive enough to wow friends if you’re hosting. Pair it with some roasted veggies or creamy mashed potatoes, and you’ll have everyone reaching for seconds.
6 Servings

Ingredients

  • 2 pork tenderloins about 3/4 lb each
  • 1/3 c honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions

  1. First, gather up all your ingredients so everything’s within reach.
  2. Start by preheating your oven to 450°F (230°C). Place the pork tenderloins in a roasting pan, giving them space to cook evenly.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, balsamic vinegar, and brown sugar until it’s all smooth and well combined.
  4. Pop the pork in the oven and roast for about 15 minutes to give it a good start.
  5. Then, lower the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). Spoon some of the honey sauce over the tenderloins to keep them moist and flavorful.
  6. Keep roasting for around 45 minutes, basting every so often with more sauce, until the pork is just slightly pink in the center. When you check with an instant-read thermometer, it should reach at least 145°F (63°C) for that perfect doneness.
  7. Give it a few minutes to rest—this helps keep all those tasty juices inside. Then slice it up and dig in!

Notes

If you’re looking to keep this recipe gluten-free, it’s a super easy switch! Just swap out the soy sauce for a gluten-free option like tamari or coconut aminos. Both of these alternatives keep that delicious, savory flavor without any gluten worries. Everything else in the recipe is already gluten-free, so with this one simple swap, you’re good to go! And don’t worry—no one will even notice the difference, except to maybe wonder how you made it taste so amazing!
