  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 6 oz. box herb-seasoned stove-top stuffing

  • 1/2 c carrots diced
  • 1/2 c yellow onion diced
  • 1/2 c celery diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp McCormick ground thyme or thyme leaves
  • 1/2 tsp McCormick ground sage or sage leaves
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • kosher salt and freshly ground pepper

Instructions
 

  1. Preheat: Set your oven to 350º F. And lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Sauté Veggies: Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté diced onion, carrot, and celery. Until softened, about 6-8 minutes. Add minced garlic. And cook for another minute. Season with salt and pepper. Then stir in 3 tablespoons of turkey gravy. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. And set aside to cool.
  3. Mix Meatloaf: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, stuffing mix, eggs, and milk. Fold in the cooled vegetable mixture. And season with thyme, sage, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together. Until well incorporated.
  4. Shape and Bake: Transfer the mixture to the greased loaf pan, pressing it down gently. Pour the remaining turkey gravy on top.
  5. Bake: Place the loaf pan in the oven. And bake for 40 minutes. Or until the meatloaf is cooked through. Let it cool slightly before slicing.
