  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl mix together 2¼ cups of flour, ¼ cup of sugar, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
  2. Warm up the Milk: Heat ⅔ cup of milk in the microwave for 30 seconds. Until it reaches a temperature (around 110°F).

  4. Prepare the Dough: Pour the mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Use a stand mixer with a dough hook to knead on medium speed for 10 minutes. Make sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to incorporate all ingredients.
  5. First Rise: Grease another bowl, with 1½ teaspoons of vegetable oil. Shape the dough into a ball. Place it in the greased bowl. And cover it with plastic wrap. Let it rise for 1½ hours. Or until it doubles in size.
  6. Shape the Buns: On a floured surface. Flatten out the dough into a rectangle (15 inches long and 8 inches wide). Sprinkle evenly with 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Roll up the dough into a log. Starting from one side. Seal the edge by moistening it with water.
  7. Second Rise: Use unflavored floss to slice the log into 1-inch pieces. Place the slices on parchment paper. Cover with plastic wrap. And let them rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Cooking the Buns: Heat 2 2½ cups of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the buns a few at a time. Until they turn brown on each side. Remove them. Place on paper towels to absorb any oil.
