Ingredients

For the Garlic Parmesan Butter:

  • 1 lb salted butter softened
  • 5 cloves garlic grated
  • ½ c finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 lemon zest and juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • ¼ c fresh parsley finely chopped (optional, for serving)

For the Chicken Skewers:

  • 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 2-inch strips
  • 2 tsps salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

Prepare the Butter Sauce:

  1. In a medium bowl. Melt the butter.
  2. Mix in the grated garlic, parmesan cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and red pepper flakes. Until well combined.

Prepare the Skewers:

  1. If necessary. Trim the wooden skewers. To fit your cooking device.
  2. Thread the chicken strips tightly. Onto the skewers.
  3. Season the skewered chicken with salt and black pepper.

Cook the Kebabs:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Generously brush all sides of the skewered chicken. With the prepared garlic parmesan butter.
  3. Place the skewers in the air fryer. And cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Baste the chicken with more butter. Then cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Baste again. And cook for a final 5 minutes. Until the chicken is golden brown. And cooked through.
