- 1/2 c heavy cream
For the Frosting:
- 1 can coconut pecan frosting
Instructions
Cake Recipe:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a baking pan measuring 9x13 inches.
- In a bowl combine the cake mix, pudding, eggs, yogurt, oil, milk, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Pour the mixture into the pan. Bake for around 30 to 40 minutes or, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked use the handle of a spoon to poke holes over the cake surface.
- Drizzle condensed milk over the cake ensuring that it seeps into the holes. Allow it to cool completely.
Ganache Recipe:
- Place chopped chocolate in a bowl.
- Heat cream in a saucepan until it is just about to boil. Pour it over the chocolate.
- Wait for 5 minutes. Then stir until you achieve a smooth consistency.
- Allow the ganache to thicken for around 5 to 10 minutes before spreading it over the cooled cake.
Finishing Touches:
- Spread coconut pecan frosting on top of the ganache layer.
