Ingredients

  • 1 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Butter for greasing the tin

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a muffin tin with butter so nothing sticks.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss in the flour, baking powder, and salt and give it a good mix until everything's nicely blended. Pour in the milk and add the mayonnaise. Mix it all together until the batter looks smooth and everything's nicely combined. You want it to be lump-free and ready to scoop.
  3. Spoon the batter evenly into the muffin tin, filling each cup about halfway.
  4. Bake for around 15 minutes, or until the rolls turn a lovely golden brown.
  5. If you’re in the mood for a little extra indulgence, brush the tops with melted butter when they come out of the oven.
  6. Let them cool for a minute or two, and then serve warm. Enjoy!

Notes

Want to make these rolls gluten-free? It’s easy! Just swap out the all-purpose flour for a 1:1 gluten-free baking blend. You might need to adjust the milk slightly to get the batter to the right consistency, but otherwise, the process stays the same. These gluten-free rolls will be just as fluffy and satisfying, and no one will even know the difference. Perfect for sharing with friends and family who are gluten-sensitive or just cutting back on gluten.
