Ingredients
- 2 Large bags of tortilla chips
- 1 pound Ground beef
- 1 Packet of taco seasoning
- ½ Onion diced
- 1 Can of refried beans
- 16 ounces Shredded cheese
- 3 Roma tomatoes diced
- 2-3 Green onions chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Using a skillet heat it medium-high over heat and cook 1 pound of ground beef with half of a diced onion until the beef turns brown and the onion becomes soft.
- Make sure to drain any fat from the skillet.
- Lower the heat to low and mix in 1 packet of taco seasoning. Allow it to cook for a few minutes.
- Take a baking sheet. Spread out one bag of tortilla chips. Then evenly distribute half of the can of refried beans, on top.
- Sprinkle half of the cooked beef mixture and 8 ounces of shredded cheese over the chips.
- Place it in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Until the cheese has melted and is bubbly.
- Once done remove it from the oven immediately. Top it off with Roma tomatoes as well, as chopped green onions.
