Notes
Don't worry, going gluten-free doesn't mean saying goodbye to these treats! If you want to adapt this recipe here are some suggestions:Taco Seasoning: Although many pre-packaged taco seasonings are naturally gluten-free it's always a good idea to read the labels or create your own blend at home using individual spices such, as cumin, paprika and chili powder.Phyllo Tart Shells: Look for shells that are gluten-free or get creative by using baked tortilla cups made from gluten-free tortillas. Alternatively you can use pie crusts that are specifically made without gluten, for a crumbly base that will be just as satisfying.Ranch Dressing: Most store-bought Ranch dressings are gluten-free but it's important to check the label for any additives or thickeners that may contain gluten.
