Ingredients

  • 1/3 c creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 c white sugar
  • 1/4 c packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 c all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Brownie Cookie Dough:

  • 1/4 c unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 c granulated sugar
  • 1/2 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 c cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1/2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  1. Peanut Butter Cookie Dough: In a large bowl. Beat together the softened butter. With peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Until light and fluffy—this takes around 3-4 minutes. Next, add the egg and vanilla. Mixing until well combined. In another bowl. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients. Into the wet mixture. Stirring until just combined. Be careful. Not to overmix. Set the dough aside.
  2. Brownie Cookie Dough: In a separate bowl. Mix the melted butter. And granulated sugar. Until smooth. Add the egg. And vanilla extract. Stirring until fully incorporated. Sift together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Then gradually fold these dry ingredients. Into the wet mixture. Until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Assembling the Cookies: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). And line a baking sheet. With parchment paper. Take about 1 tablespoon each of the peanut butter dough. And the brownie dough.
