Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 1 stick unsalted butter melted

For the Filling:

  • 8- ounce block cream cheese room temperature
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tub whipped topping Cool Whip
  • 12 Oreo cookies chopped

For the Ganache (Optional):

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

Prepare the crust

  1. Crush one package of Oreo cookies using a food processor until fine crumbs form. Transfer to a mixing bowl and combine with melted butter. Stir until evenly moistened. Press firmly into the bottom of a pie pan to form an even crust.

Prepare the ganache (optional)

  1. Heat ½ cup of heavy whipping cream in a small saucepan until it begins to lightly simmer. Pour over 1 cup of chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Whisk until smooth and set aside to cool slightly.

Make the filling

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream. Whip until well combined and creamy.

Add Oreos and whipped topping

  1. Fold in the chopped Oreo cookies and the whipped topping using a spatula, being careful not to deflate the mixture.

Assemble the pie

  1. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the prepared Oreo crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Chill

  1. Place the pie in the freezer for at least 30 minutes, or until set.

Decorate and serve

  1. If desired, drizzle the prepared ganache over the chilled pie. Garnish with dollops of whipped topping and whole Oreo cookies for presentation. Slice and serve chilled.
