Easy Beer Biscuits

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 11 minutes
These Easy Beer Biscuits are perfect when you need something quick, warm, and homemade. With just three ingredients—Bisquick, beer, and a bit of sugar—you’ll have golden, fluffy biscuits in less than 15 minutes. The beer gives them an incredible lightness and a subtle flavor that makes them stand out from your usual biscuit recipe. Serve them with butter, honey, or whatever spread you like. They’re so simple, anyone can make them, and they’re a hit no matter the occasion!
8 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 c beer preferably a pilsner or lager
  • 3 ½ c Bisquick mix
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. First, preheat your oven to 350°F and get a baking sheet ready by lining it with parchment paper—this will help keep the biscuits from sticking.
  2. In a big bowl, sift together the Bisquick and sugar. You just want to ensure everything is nicely combined.
  3. Next, slowly pour in the beer while stirring. Don’t overmix here—just stir until the ingredients are combined and the dough looks a little lumpy.
  4. Scoop the dough into 8 even portions and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Pop the biscuits into the oven and bake for about 9 to 11 minutes, or until they turn a light golden color.
  6. Serve them warm with butter, honey, jam, or whatever spread you love. Enjoy!

Notes

Making these biscuits gluten-free is super easy! All you have to do is swap regular Bisquick for a gluten-free version, which you can find in most grocery stores. And don’t forget to use a gluten-free beer—there are plenty of good ones available now! Everything else in the recipe stays the same, so you’ll still end up with those light, fluffy biscuits everyone loves, just without the gluten. Perfect for anyone with dietary restrictions but still craving that homemade goodness!
