Ingredients

  • 1 5.1 ounce box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 8 ounce container Cool Whip, thawed
  • 3 to 4 ripe bananas sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 cups Nilla wafer cookies roughly crushed

Instructions

Prepare the pudding mixture.

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for approximately 2 minutes, or until the mixture becomes smooth and thickened. Cover and refrigerate for 5 to 10 minutes to allow it to set slightly.

Incorporate the whipped topping.

  1. Remove the pudding from the refrigerator. Stir briefly, then gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip until fully combined and smooth. Set aside.

Prepare the bananas.

  1. Slice the ripe bananas into even rounds. Lightly brush the slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.

Combine the remaining ingredients.

  1. Add the sliced bananas, mini marshmallows, and 1 1/2 cups of the crushed Nilla wafer cookies to the pudding mixture. Stir gently until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Chill the mixture.

  1. Transfer the banana pudding fluff to a serving dish or bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the texture to firm slightly.

Serve.

  1. Before serving, stir the fluff once more and sprinkle the remaining crushed Nilla wafers on top as a garnish. Serve chilled and enjoy.
