Ingredients

  • 1 lb. of cremini mushrooms cleaned with long stems trimmed
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 2-3 sprigs of fresh thyme leaves removed from stems
  • 2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of melted butter
  • ¼ tsp of pure maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  1. Preheat your oven. To 400°F. In a baking dish (such as an 8×8). Combine the mushrooms, melted butter, balsamic vinegar, and soy sauce. Minced garlic, maple syrup, thyme leaves, and black pepper.
  2. Gently toss everything together. Until the mushrooms. Are evenly coated. With the mixture.
  3. Roast in the oven. For 15 minutes. Stirring once. Halfway through. Serve warm. Or at room temperature.

Notes

To make this recipe gluten-free. Simply swap out the soy sauce for tamari. Which is a gluten-free alternative. That still offers the same deep, umami flavor. Make sure to double-check.
