Crispy and Savory Sausage Hashbrown Bites

Breakfast of champions: sausage, hashbrowns, and biscuit mix. These are breakfast must-haves. You should probably use them, but have you tried putting them together?

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. Bisquick
  • 1 pound ground breakfast sausage uncooked
  • 4 c. shredded frozen hashbrowns
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese shredded

Instructions
 

  1. Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F. Using parchment paper, line a baking sheet. Set aside.
  2. Mix the sausage, cream cheese, Bisquick, cheddar cheese, and hashbrowns in a medium bowl until combined.
  3. Divide and form the sausage mixture into 1 1/2-inch ball.
  4. On the lined baking sheet, place the balls.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven until completely cooked.
  6. Serve the Sausage Hashbrown Bites right away with your favorite dipping sauce or on their own. Enjoy!

Notes

How To Make it Gluten free
For this recipe, use gluten-free sausage. Always read the label before buying because regular sausages often contain rusks made from wheat.
Use gluten-free Bisquick.
Use gluten-free hash browns such as Ore-Ida.
