  • 1 large white onion 8 oz, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons chipotle sauce
  • 7 ounces fire-roasted tomatoes canned or homemade
  • ¼ cup tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic or 5 large cloves, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup vegetable broth

Spices & Seasonings:

  • ½ teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
